Today We will learn how to install WordPress at our local server.Now We discuss what we required and what steps to follow to install WordPress.
Requirement:
- Internet:For downloading WordPress.
- Local Server:Xampp, Wamp etc.
Steps:
1. Download Worpress
Download wordpress at wordpress official site.here is link for downloading wordpress
https://wordpress.org/download/
2.Create database in phpmyadmin
3.Make a folder in your htdocs i make it with name of demo. Extract download zip file of wordpress that we downloaded from WordPress site.
4.Now open the link on your internet browser make sure your xampp is working.
5.open link of the folder where your wordpress files is extracted.
like my url is http://localhost/demo
now the language select window is option comes. select your language a click on continue.
6.After that next window open we are already created database so we click on let’s go button.
7.In next window we write the database name in database option.Remember username in local is always root and password is blank as like in the following image. After that click on submit.
8. In next window click on Run the installation
9.Next window fill the details regarding your site and login panel.Note down your username and password for accessing the WordPress backend. After that click on install WordPress.
10.After installation complete success message occur.After that by clicking on login you can access your WordPress backend.
